Partnerships

LES Studio Program: Beginning in 2011, Artists Alliance Inc and Residency Unlimited joined together in support of each organization’s program to facilitate the development of artist projects. Residency Unlimited provides studio visits and tailored networking opportunities to the artists participating in AAI’s Lower East Side Studio Program. As part of this exchange and Artists Alliance Inc’s Art (Inter)Actions program, one Residency Unlimited artist-in-residence is invited each year to exhibit his or her new work Cuchifritos Gallery & Project Space.

Open Studios are held bi-annually in collaboration with the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center.

Art (Inter)Actions: Artists Alliance Inc has partnered with Parsons The New School for Design, School of Design Strategies for their Urban Core Project course, instructed by Sdjan Jovanovic Weiss. The main aim of this course is to research, analyze, conceptualize and produce a singular, physical, urban scale model for the alternative vision of SPURA on the Lower East Side. Artists Alliance Inc will exhibit the result of this course, the model, at the Cuchifritos within the Essex Street Market, one of the SPURA sites.

Artists Alliance Inc is proud to support Fourth Arts Block (FAB), leading the development of the East 4th Street Cultural District. Together with their partners, FAB strives to build a lasting home for arts and preserve the block’s unique creative ecology.
